Unique boys names?

Hello,

I used to work in a social/people sort of field, so many names automatically are vetoed, especially common / popular ones.
Our first born has an unusual name, and i love it! We are looking for something similarly uncommon/unheard of for his brother. Through, not made up. Despite many comments and questions, we actually did get his name from our baby name book, but nothing else is really jumping out at me this time around.

I Do not like old names, in saying that, one of the names i like is Rueben. I am just drawn to it for some unusual reason. The other one i like is Zaide. I can not for the life of me, convince DF on either of these. He is happy with basic names like Jack, Luke, Aaron etc.

Hello Victor,

there are so many connotations with different names that it really is hard to find one for your child. I like Rueben a lot though. It is special and I think he will be kind of happy with it.
When we had our first baby girl a few weeks ago we also had a hard time finding a name that is not too common but also not to eccentric.
I have a question for you from dad to dad. How was it for you to be a dad finally and how can you support your wife in the best way possible. I have a hard time because I have the feeling that I cannot really support her with the baby very much. I change diapers, do a lot in the household but I would love to take some pressure from her in other ways too.

here is another Dad.

I like Jack and Luke a lot. I know I'm boring when it comes to creativity

However my son is named Lucas. This might be a reason why I like Luke.

@anthony: it seems to me that you are supporting your love a lot. You take over work and help with the baby this is great. When I was a first time dad everything changed, your whole life is so different from one moment to the other. But you are getting used to it. My wife decided to nurse our baby with formula due to some reasons, which are too long to explain here. This was not the worst time for me.
